Tips and Insights on Ministry From a Great Minister of Education
My good friend and co-laborer for Christ at Quail, Ray Griffin, is blogging insights and tips he’s learned through his years of experience in ministry. It’s a great resource for that first-year pastor struggling through things like calling, marriage enrichment, etc. And I’ve enjoyed seeing some of his reasoning behind his ministry here.
Talking with Ray personally, I know he’s going to “open source” things like how to handle funerals and weddings, conflict, etc. — all things a rookie pastor or minister will be faced with.
So go tune in to Ray’s blog and encourage him to keep sharing these excellent insights on ministry.
ChurchTheme.com: A Church Website Template Solution
Today, I’d like to announce ChurchTheme, a new church website template solution that we’ve created for churches.
I think it’s a great solution for smaller church websites and those without the budget to hire one of these fine church website firms. It’s a do-it-yourself kind of template, where someone with basic familiarity with WordPress and some HTML experience can customize it for your church.
It’s built on the WordPress platform and made to let you use WordPress as a content management system — for easy and affordable website updating.
You can see the purchase information here … and see the live demo we’ve got up as an example of how it could work for your church.
