Upgrade Your Browsers … Please
I’ve noticed that the majority of readers to CCP as well as most of my other blogs are running Internet Explorer … the two most popular versions being IE 6 and IE 7. Actually, they are about split evenly as the most popular browsers being used to read this blog.
As a freelance web designer, I’ve pulled my hair out trying to design around the quirks of Internet Explorer 6 in particular …
It’s notoriously terrible for web stuff … I mean, seriously, whole websites are devoted just to giving hacks to workaround it’s bugs.
So … I’d like to suggest something to you: UPGRADE PLEASE!
The latest version of Internet Explorer is version 7 … download or upgrade now here.
But also … I’ll also mention, my browser of choice (and deep love) is FireFox.
I started using it almost a year ago now and won’t ever look back. The browser’s tagline is “Rediscover the web.”
