bethlehem baptist john piperCheck out John Piper’s Bethlehem Baptist’s new church website redesign. …

I’m really fond of their church logo. The colors on the site are calming, pleasing to the eye. And I love their domain name: http://HopeInGod.org

What do you think?

    I love the logo.

The site is not my cup of tea. I find it choppy and cluttered. Way too much going on, The left hand column looks like it pushed down too far. I thought it was my Safari, but Firefox did it too. So it must be intentional. Maybe its the tabs that imply it needs to share the bar location with the main nav.

I also think the header has some interesting layout. logo good, then awkward gap, then an oddly split navigation with 52+ pages (yes, I counted). A quick glance at the site map shows even more pages.

The sub pages are better, but that left bar needs to be smaller and less distracting.
