Case Study: How We Promoted our Christmas Musical
This may be a little too late for some of you this Christmas, but I wanted to show you the invite business card we used for our musical presentation this year. Granger calls these “invest and invite” cards.
Download a printable PDF with our Christmas invest and invite cards sample here.
Ingredients Used:
* 2,500 Business card printing from Online Print House
* IStockPhoto for the front image, then I used the color scheme for the back
* Fonts: Goudy and Garamond
How we used them
Our music minister gave them to those involved (in bundles of 20 or so), and asked them to invite others.
We’ve done “invest and invite” biz cards in the past … and we’re still tweaking the concept/idea. One time we inserted them in our Sunday bulletin and asked for our members to invite others (it was for a sermon series).
Of course, for the musical, I sent the typical news release to our local media, plugged it on your Website and through our weekly email newsletter as well as our new street sign! Whoa. I’m tired. This is a typical approach. Nothing out of the box here.
What are your ideas? Have you used biz cards in the past? Post a comment and let us know!
