Blogging Tip: A Simple Tweak to Earn More Money from Your Amazon Affiliate Book Links
Here’s a tip that’s way overdue … and I say that because it’s a simple tweak that deals with your Amazon Associates affiliate account and how you can instantly earn more. (Almost instantly.)
You have an Amazon Associates account and are earning money from books you recommend, right? :-)
I’ve beaten that horse up so much I’m sounding like a broken record. But I’ll keep beating it because (1) it merely rewards you for helping others discover books and (2) it doesn’t change the price of the book … and you get a commission out of it!
Anyway, here’s the tweak … the default referral rate is the standard 4 percent. But I noticed a couple of weeks ago you can switch from the “Classic” referral rate of 4 percent to a “Performance” rate that varies from “4% to 8.5%, depending on your shipped items volume.”
OK, question … why wouldn’t you want to make more money?
- Log in to your Amazon Associates account.
- Click on “Your Account” in the upper left-hand corner.
- Then click on “Change Your Fee Structure.”
- Switch to “Performance.”
WOW! More potential … I like that, don’t you?
