Announcing the Ministry Marketing Coach Blog

Chris Forbes of Ministry Marketing Coach (and a fellow Okie) is blogging.

I had the good fortune of meeting Chris almost as soon as we stepped foot back in Oklahoma this summer. I’ve admired his work for a long, long time from a distance and wanted to meet him. So I was pleasantly surprised when I saw his card sitting on my desk about my first or second day.

A bunch of lunches later, I consider Chris a great friend and also a personal “coach.” His ideas and insights are amazing. I’ve learned a lot just bouncing ideas off of him and hearing his. And what I love about Chris is he loves Jesus and wants to help the church.

He’s one of the few guys I’ve met who is talking about church marketing and has an M.Div. also (with a concentration in biblical languages of all things!). So he’s able to help take the “pastoral” world by the hand and the “marketing” world by the hand and pull the two together without compromising truth or relevance.
I’ve been encouraging (actually, pestering) him to get blogging. And now he has. Chris, welcome to the blogosphere!!!
By the way, if you haven’t downloaded his free ebook called “25 Free Marketing Tools” go do that! It’s worth it.
