If you’re already blogging and rolling along with a regular posting schedule, here’s an incredible tool for creating the code necessary for tags — a way of bookmarking sites and posts online that are shared with others.
It’s called the Free Tag Generator & Social Bookmark Creator.
This resource takes the hard work out of making the tags and gives you the code to do it. For instance, see the tags I made for this post below:

[By the way, if you like these posts, this series or this site, I’d REALLY appreciate you using these links to favoriti me in Technorati , or Digg me, or slap a del.icio.us bookmark for this site!]
Tagging your posts helps other people who are looking for topics that you blog on to find them.

Here are some definitions for concepts you need to know [via Wikipedia]:
Here’s some popular tagging, blog search and bookmarking sites to explore and get accounts at:
- Del.icio.us — The popular bookmarking service I use to keep track of my web surfing
- Technorati — The blog search engine. Log in and get an account and Favorite this blog (please)
- Digg — A more techie-type community where you “digg” up stories and people vote on them
Also, see how I use Del.icio.us to show people what I’m bookmarking online … or read the previous how-to post on doing it for your site and thus, showing your own readers what you’re looking at online …
