Chalan Thibodeaux is technical director at East Bayou Church in Louisiana. He blogs at ChalanThibodeaux.com.
Here’s his answers:
1. Why (or how) did you start blogging?
After attending the Innovative Church Conference in Granger, Illinois, and a breakout session on blogging, I learned how important blogging can be used for open communications.
2. What subject do you post most about?
My life: God, music, technology, church, developments, etc.
3. What are your favorite blog tools?
Blogger.com is making it really easy with the Beta version.
4. How often do you post?
Daily
5. What one piece of advice would you give for prospective blogging pastors?
It’s a great tool to let your staff, congregation, etc. know what’s inside your heart and where your passion is. There’s no way that you can connect to everyone on staff and congregation on that one-on-one level. This is the next best thing … and that’s a Mark Batterson quote.
