Life Point Church’s site rocks!

Here’s what lead pastor Jeff Kapusta sent me for background on their new Web site:

“From the beginning, Lifepoint Church has placed a high value on speaking the language of a culturally savvy community. Wilmington, N.C., is known for its embrace of the arts, music, and media. We set out to design a site that would not only be functional but aesthetically pleasing. We wanted our web guest to sense something different about Lifepoint Church. Specifically we wanted them to know that we value originality, authenticity, and creativity. All of these elements shine through in our new web design.

In the first month of Lifepoint’s existence we developed a friendship with a young web developer who now calls Lifepoint home. Brent Mattox is the founder of Port City Digital, a web development firm in Wilmington, N.C. In May of 2006 we began to brainstorm and share ideas amongst our creative team for the birth of our new site. Port City Digital took all our ideas and in September of 2006 rolled out what you now know as lifepointnow.com.

The response to our site has been positive. We’ve received feedback from many folks and organizations in the community asking who did our design work. We also hear how surpised people are that a church has such an artistic and creative site.
