5 Blogging Questions with Dan Lee of Blog Ministry

As part of the “Blogging 101 for Pastors” series [click here to see all the posts], I’ve been asking several proflic blogging pastors to answer five basic questions about blogging.

Dan Lee of Blog Ministry is a “British student studying Multimedia Computing at Sunderland University.” He’s got a great ministry for blogging pastors/ministers, with excellent insights.

1. Why (or how) did you start blogging?

I started a site using a blog that would enable people to login and post a testimony. It didn’t work very well and failed to attract users so I decided I would take a deeper look at blogging and what I found was a great way to connect people to each other and ultimately Jesus. So I started what has now become a community blog name Blog Ministry aiming to learn and teach the best practices of using the web to reach people for Jesus.

2. What subject do you post most about?

The nature of the blog leads me to post about ministry, technology, design, church and news. I don’t always reserve my self to blogging about blogging though and enjoy a good rant once in a while. Recently we have been doing articles on the Web 2.0 topic which is very ambiguous and confusing, it’s actually quite impossible to tie down to a definition but the church could learn a lot from some of it’s approach it.
