Just scanning through some of the 100 fastest growing churches Web sites, I discovered Christ's Church of the Valley's site and on it ... their outstanding "Outreach Tools" section.

Empowering your church members is one of the best ways to reach out ... but giving them some fantastic tools to do that ... well, that's just INNOVATIVE!

Here's what they offer, and don't take my word, check them out with the links provided:

• Write your testimony -- step-by-step instructions, plus a link so they can then submit them to the church. I'm a big fan of members' testimonies. It gives a personal face to the church while allowing those who give testimonies to share it easily with others [just forward the link!].
• Life Preservers -- answers to the "fundamental questions" of the Christian faith, including topics on Jesus, life in general, other religions, and the Bible
• Answers to Tough Questions -- categorized by main subject areas
• Christian Music Selector -- this is probably the neatest thing I've seen in a long time ... a chart listing popular "secular" musicians with their compatible Christian artists. For instance, if you like "Creed," then check out "Todd Agnew."
