One time while I was seeking a story interview of a pastor, I called his church -- Canyon Ridge Christian Church, located in Las Vegas ... the receptionist answered the phone with an excellent greeting:

"Canyon Ridge Christian Church, how may I bless your day?"

I was taken aback. I had never heard a church phone answered this way (and I've called a few doing stories like this one).

The person who answers your phone is first impression someone could have of your organization -- some companies even rename them to be "director of first impressions."

What a ministry ... how are you blessing others through your phone greetings?
